About Us

OUR MOTIVATION

Our Story

The birth Inner Pulse Research Center began with a deep recognition of the mental health challenges faced by individuals and communities in Uganda. Despite growing awareness of mental health issues worldwide, many people in Uganda continued to suffer in silence, often unaware of available support or burdened by the stigma surrounding mental illness. Seeing the gap between mental health needs and available services, a group of passionate professionals came together to create a solution.

Vision

We envision a Uganda where mental health is recognized as an essential component of health and well-being, where individuals can access top-quality care, and where stigma surrounding mental illness is eradicated through research-driven initiatives.

Mission

To promote mental health awareness, provide evidence-based mental health support, and advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals living with mental health conditions in Uganda. Through research, education, and community engagement, we aim to make a lasting impact on mental health outcomes in the region.
